K03 loves going to Library! After listening to Mrs. Savage read stories, they get to participate in various station activities. Sometimes we even get 4th grade buddies to come in and play too. The smiles say it all.








Our custodial staff do so much more than keep classrooms, hallways, and facilities clean. They help create safe, welcoming spaces where students and staff can learn, grow, and thrive. FREE Child Screenings
The Sioux Falls School District offers free developmental screenings for children from birth to age five who reside within the district’ boundaries. We will check your child’s development in the areas of motor skills, concepts, and language. We also complete a free vision and hearing check. Screenings are done throughout the year from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. We can also get your child registered for Head Start if you meet eligibility requirements. For information or to schedule a free appointment, call the Early Childhood screening office at 605-367-8488. The Early Childhood Screening office is located at 2205 N. Career Avenue.

Today we celebrated Mrs. Thompson's birthday. Mrs. Thompson was a long time teacher at LBA. Although she is not with us anymore, her legacy of kindness and love of books lives on at LBA! Each grade level chose a new book to read as a class. Class 341 students signed Mrs.Thompson’s book to create a special memory in her honor.
