Hello LBA Families! Unfortunately we are switching our field day plans for tomorrow due to the weather forecast. We will have activities in our gym for the students during their regular specials time. We will not be at Pioneer Park as previously planned.

Our 2nd grade had a field trip come to them. They were able to paint tiles from Color Me Mine. Can't wait to see how they turned out!

4th grade Engineers created rovers for space exploration.

Health Careers and EMT students from the CTE Academy volunteered at a Stuffy Clinic at Laura B. Anderson Elementary, treating all kinds of maladies with these 2nd graders' special friends. The students also learned about how germs get spread and got to enjoy CTE Culinary delights. Learn more!

We had a team of girls participate in the Girls on the Run 5k this past weekend. They trained for weeks and worked hard to accomplish this goal. Way to go girls!

All balances at the close of the school year will remain in the child(ren)'s account and be accessible to the student at the beginning of the following school year. For graduating seniors or students transferring out of the district, remaining funds may be transferred to a sibling, refunded, or donated to a household struggling to pay for school meals.

Congratulations to our Millionaire for a Day winner - Hawa! She won a donut/juice party for her class, a special ride to school and $300. Thank you to our partners at Citi for sponsoring this contest.
